  • 2014, World’s First Low Speed Marine DF Engine passed test

  • 2017, Reaches 100-million Horsepower Milestone

  • 2018, Company name changed to HSD Engine

  • 2019, Selection of world-class products for nitrogen oxide reduction devices for ships

  • 2022, Signed MOU with DSME & Samsung Heavy Industries to jointly develop next-generation eco-friendly ship engines

  • 2023, Has won an order for 16 eco-friendly methanol container ship main engines which will be installed on container ships built by Samsung Heavy Industries

  • 2024, Company name changed to Hanwha Engine
